The Company
Formed by Erika Mesquita and Atawallpa Coello, the Company started in 2004 doing street theater. With the proposal to research and create language arts theater and circus physical comedy, for over 20 years.This group has toured the world and has been celebrated by critics and audiences. This Company has won several awards in Brazil, had five seasons in many Festival of Europe, Asia, performed in at the Opera de Pekin in China, Siam World Champion Street Bangkok in Thailand and participated in the Avignon OFF Festival. Has participated in several cities in South America and Europe and Asia in countries like Argentina, China, Thailand, Peru, Mexico, Chile, Germany,India, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium,Colombia, Holland and Puerto Rico, having great success with the public They passed by.
In 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2015 were awarded the Prize Funarte Stimulus to the Circus, creating new shows and performing Tournes by the cities of Brazil and Europe.
November 2015 Cia. is invited for the second time to Ozomatli Street Arts Festival in Mexico.

In 2020 we won the Funarte award with the staging of the show TITÂNIA.
let’s go! and we continue through South America, this time through Colombia at the Papayaso Festival in Bogota Colombia. and Titania on tour in Brazil and then comes Mariana at the Payasos International Festival.
In 2024 we will continue our journey around the world and this time we will go to Bariloche, Argentina, to the Jolgorio festival of humor and street art!
And in May 2024, we will go to the German Usedom Kleinkunst Festival and then to the Beijing Clown Festival in Asia. After this wonderful tour, we will return to Brasilia to the Sesc Festclown! celebrating our 20 years of offering fun to young and old in a great family show.
and in 2025 we are preparing the tour through Rio de Janeiro SESC and Europe for the International Festival Pflasterspecktakel Linz Austria!

Alone on stage, circus actress Erika Mesquita introduces us to the strongest woman in the world. This narrative brings a story that can be myth or truth. Inspired by real women, stories of strength and reinvention, the artist uses circus skills such as hula hoop manipulation, balancing acts, aerial acrobatics and trapeze and demonstrations of strength to reveal this mystery: who is this woman? Who is this being? Well there is the mystery! Get ready to know!

Columpio Show
“Columpio Show”
Synopsis:
In the spectacle Columpio, two eccentric characters, musicians, acrobats and above all, clowns, present a variety show. Through comedy combined with acrobatics and aerial techniques, build scenes high energy, visual impact and grace that culminate with the “high point” a risky number of traps in the balance sheet. The music keeps pace the scenes and moving actors who use the area of skills circus to assume the role of the comic hero.
Release:
The show grew out of research to establish the number of traps in balance, awarded the Prize Funarte Stock Incentive Creation or Improvement Number Circus. The purpose of this project was the creation a number of comedic trapeze swing, especially toward the street. The elements that emerged from this study were the basis for Columpio mount the show, held under the auspices of the FAC – Fund Supporting Culture, the State Secretariat of Culture of the Federal District in 2009.

Synopsis:
Comedy circus for the whole family inspired by the popular theaters of the past, where artists appropriate the vivacity of comedy, acrobatics and folk songs. Atahualpa and Eggplant are two eccentric characters who perform the big show every day of their lives. But there is a spell between the two barriers which crosses the stage, resulting in a series of frustrated attempts at conquest. Built from a survey of the clown, his relationship with the public and the world, Take your seat offers a series of circus acts that take place wrapped the songs performed live by the actors, using trumpet, drums and accordion.
Release
Marked by a poetic tone, the show offers the viewer a series of circus acts. On stage are performed aerobatics and balance games combined with comedy, built from the interpretation of the body dominated and play the clown. The numbers take place in lined human eccentricities, wrapped the songs that hark back to an ancient universe and circus. Some of these songs are performed by live actors, bringing references to popular brazilian songs. Through this scenario guided the circus theater, the Company is inspired by the circus rickety, cloth wheel, and the great clowns of yesterday, references to artists today researching the noble art of slapstick classic, this comic to tell.
